Earth Day Celebration

Join Us for a Potomac Watershed Clean Up and Earth Day Event!

Date: April 9, 2011
Time: 8:30 am to 11:30 am
Location: Kingman and Heritage Islands Park

Join us for an exciting day of volunteer restoration to clean up the Anacostia and Potomac Rivers in Washington, DC. Living Classrooms is working with the Anacostia Watershed Society and the Alice Ferguson Foundation to host a special clean up event on the Anacostia River as a part of the Earth Day Clean Up and Potomac Watershed Clean Up. Volunteers will have an opportunity to join site leaders from Living Classrooms, EarthShare, and the Student Conservation Association (SCA) in removing trash from the Anacostia River and the surrounding area.

In order to participate we require that all volunteers RSVP for the event through the Anacostia Watershed Society online RSVP.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me!

Warm Regards,
